Whitewashed Houses Santorini

The Whitewashed Houses are a typical example of Santorinian architecture. Constructed in 1880, it was initially a large cave house built right into the volcanic rock. In 2018 it was fully renovated and divided into 5 autonomous residences sharing a common courtyard. The renovation was carried out paying respect to the area’s architecture that dictates vaulted ceilings, domes and austere decor. All the houses feature a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.

The Whitewashed Houses have two entrances, one from the traditional settlement and one from the road that passes above the house. Guests with a car can park on that road and walk down the 15 steps that will bring them to the entrance of the houses.
